This policy describes which personal data this website processes, for what purpose, and on what legal basis — in accordance with Art. 13 GDPR.

What data we process

This website collects personal data in two cases: when you fill out the inquiry form, and automatically via the hosting provider's server log files (see below). There are no cookies, no tracking, and no analytics tools.

Inquiry form

Through the form under „Inquiry" you can send us a booking request or a general question. In doing so, we process:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number (optional)
• your requested arrival and departure dates
• number of guests
• your message

The information is sent to us by email and used there to handle your inquiry. There is no separate database on the server — form data is sent exclusively as an email, not additionally stored. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps to enter into a contract) or, for general questions without a booking intent, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry). We delete the emails once your inquiry has been fully handled and no legal retention obligation applies.

The form also contains a field invisible to humans for spam prevention (a honeypot); it is only evaluated to detect automatically filled-out forms, and is not used for anything else.

Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted with Host Europe. When you access the site, the server automatically collects technical data transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of the request, the page accessed, and the browser and operating system used. These log files serve the security and stable operation of the website (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and are automatically deleted after a short time.

Fonts

The fonts used on this website (Newsreader, IBM Plex Mono) are hosted locally on our server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other external font service — so no data is transmitted to third parties for this purpose.

Map and external links

The map on „Location & Getting Here" is a static image, not an embedded map — viewing the page does not connect to Google Maps or OpenStreetMap. The website links to external sites in several places (for example Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, ferry and bus operators, Wikipedia). Once you follow such a link, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies — we have no influence over that.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies.

Your rights

You have the right to access the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing (Art. 21). Please contact the address given above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority — the competent authority is the Croatian Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka (AZOP), Ulica Metela Ožegovića 16, 10123 Zagreb, Croatia (azop.hr).

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy whenever something changes on the website that affects data processing — for example, an availability calendar or additional language versions.
